CIUP Art Community
We are human-size self-managed inter-house art centre within the CIUP.
We would like to invite art professionals living at CIUP to become a part of "l’Artisterie" that can also be seen as a "Maison des Beaux-Arts" of our campus. “L’Artisterie” is a community where professionals in the art field (whether already established or upcoming) can have a space to dialogue.
We plan to set up a network including scientists and professionals from all fields willing to collaborate on artistic projects.
The objective of this project is twofold. First of all, it aims to find and bring together among 6,000 residents from all over the world those who has a common field of work: art. Then, it aims to create an environment favouring professional exchanges, communication and discussions on the work of the participants. This project therefore aims to promote lasting collaborations and to forge professional links between representatives of the art world, as well as to realize artistic projects within the CIUP.
Our Story
Founded in 2024 and suported by fond d'initiative residents, l'Artisterie has been committed to bringing together artists, gallerists, art critics, cultural managers, and other players, established and still in their studies in the art field, for mutual professional assistance. Our team is made up of three Ukrainian artists studying at the Beaux-arts de Paris doing painting, sculpture and video art, as well as a Franco-American researcher in Mathematics and an Italian production assistant/cultural manager.
